When you can't depend on airline schedules or fly more than 150 hours per year, owning your own plane offers the most flexibility. But, you’re in business to run your business, not your plane. Our business is running your plane. We have direct experience managing aircraft from turboprops to large cabin jets such as the Challenger and Gulfstreams.

We do it all for youOur management services include the complete turn-key operation of your aircraft from flight crews to maintenance. Plus, you can turn your plane's idle time to income if you chose to add your plane to our charter fleet. We handle it all for you so you can focus on what you do best, running your business.

Operating a modern business jet is complexTo operate your plane safely, control costs, and maintain it’s resale value, you need structure and an experienced team behind you. Our management program gives you the organization, key personnel, and system you need to operate your plane properly.

Key Personnel

  • Aviation Manager
  • Director of Maintenance
  • Chief Pilot
  • Experienced Flight Crews

Safety Procedures

  • Written policies and procedures. Nothing done by chance. Flight crews and maintenance personnel follow written procedures that have been accepted by the Federal Aviation Administration.
  • Industry know-how from years of experience.
  • Experience: We do this for a living. Our management team has years of experience operating jets like yours.
  • Maintenance system: Your plane's maintenance is handled using U.S. Air Carrier standards and established procedures used by fortune 500 corporate flight departments. Our Director of Maintenance uses these procedures to document and track every part removed and replaced on your plane, and ensures all required inspections are completed properly.
  • FAA oversight of your plane: As a licensed U.S. Air Carrier, the Federal Aviation Administration regularly inspects our aircraft and pilots to verify compliance with safety regulations. Your plane's records will be independently reviewed giving you added peace of mind.

Charter Income

  • Turn your plane's idle time to income to reduce your ownership costs. If your utilization is less than 300 hours per year, you should consider chartering your aircraft. Flying at least 300 hours per year will allow you to get the most from your warrantee credits, and reduce your average cost of ownership- since routine maintenance inspections are often based on calendar (every 12 months for example) as well as flight hours.

Cost Control

  • Through planning, prevention, and being proactive, we control your largest expense: maintenance. Sound planning, regular visual inspections, continuous crew communication, and maintaining well organized aircraft maintenance records, you will avoid unnecessary expenses and flights to the repair facility.
  • We pass along to you our cost savings from our long established vendor relationships for Insurance, Flight Crew training, contract fuel, and more.
  • Financial Planning: We prepare an annual budget for your plane's operation so you know your costs upfront.

Trip Scheduling

  • We arrange all details for your flights from catering to ground transportation to customs and immigration requirements for international flights.

Reporting

  • We provide you regular customized reports detailing your plane's flight activity and costs. You'll know your plane's status at all times.

SafetFirstSmall-shadowAll our flights conducted using trained, tested, and experienced pilots, well maintained aircraft, and established procedures.

A lot of time, effort, and training goes into making an aircraft and crew qualified for aircraft charter service.

Below is a list of some of the steps required to be completed before you board a charter flight.

Our aircraft, or those provided by our partner air carriers, all comply with specific aircraft and flight crew requirements before every flight. These requirements are intended to verify the plane you and your family fly is properly equipped, maintained, and your crew is experienced and trained to safely complete your flight. Below is a list of some of the safety standards that are required of every aircraft and flight crew that we provide you.

Safety RequirementsThe requirements below are not required for privately operated aircraft. The requirements listed are similar to those required by the major airlines. All our aircraft and flight crews, as well as those operated by our network air carriers, have completed the following:

Aircraft Conformity

  • Aircraft used for charter services must pass a rigorous conformity process to ensure all maintenance and equipment requirements for commercial charter operations are complied with. This process culminates with an FAA audit of the aircraft and its maintenance history. Once all requirements detailed in the Federal Aviation Regulations related to commercial operations have been met, the FAA authorizes the specific aircraft for passenger carrying operations. Often, some aircraft do not initially comply with the equipment requirements or are missing maintenance documents verifying compliance. In many cases, substantial investment must be made in order to bring the aircraft into compliance. Again, aircraft operated privately (not carrying passengers for hire) have no such requirement. The requirements below apply only to aircraft used in commercial charter service. Privately used aircraft are not required to comply with the requirements noted below.

Flight Crews

  • Pre-employment FAA/DOT drug and alcohol testing. Post employment random drug and alcohol testing, plus reasonable suspicion, and post accident/incident testing. In other words, all flight crews are subject to regular pre and post flight random drug and alcohol testing.
  • TSA Criminal History Records Check (CHRC). All flight crews, those who fly jet aircraft or aircraft that weigh more than 12,500 lb, must be fingerprinted and checked for criminal histories through a national database. This check is conducted by the FBI. Flight crews must successfully pass this check before flying passengers for hire.
  • Pilot Records Improvement Act Records Check. A five year background check is completed with a pilot's previous employers. This background investigation's purpose is to determine if a pilot has a history of poor performance or has been disqualified from employment for professional reasons.
  • Basic Indoctrination Training. Approximately sixty hours of training covering all aspects of flight such as company procedures, meteorology, navigation, air traffic procedures, regulations, weight and balance, runway limitations, flight locating procedures, severe weather avoidance, ground icing procedures, and more. Not required for aircraft operated privately and not used in charter service.
  • Flight Training. Approximately one hundred hours (less for non-jet aircraft) of ground and flight training conducted in advanced simulators. All operations including normal, abnormal, and emergency procedures are practiced until a standard proficiency in each maneuver or procedure is achieved. Additional recurrent training is required during the year following initial training.
  • Flight Checks. Following the above training, flight crews must complete a battery of tests with the FAA prior to flying passengers in commercial service. They must complete oral and practical (in the simulator or aircraft) tests before being qualified to fly passengers in commercial service. Additionally, the captain must complete a special flight (line) check in the airplane once per year to verify proficiency with aircraft and standard procedures.
  • Prior to flight, we must check the aircraft's maintenance status, crew qualifications, crew rest, flight time and duty limitations, and over one-hundred other details to ensure compliance with safety regulations before we fly you in our aircraft.
